Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions!

George Barna writes, "A child's moral compass is set by the age of nine.  Whether that compass points toward faith in God or is drawn toward the things of this world is, in large part, up to those influencing the lives of our children from the very earliest years."  When it comes to kids, Copper Canyon Baptist Church wants to hit a home run EVERY opportunity we have.  That's why we are committed to offering children's sermons that tie into the adult message EVERY Sunday.  Children spend the first half of every worship service with their family and friends, singing and learning to worship in an adult setting; then they have their own illustrated sermon by the pastor; followed by prayer; and then they are dismissed to Jr. Church (see below).

Jr. Church

It is our goal to train children to worship their God "in Spirit and in truth" (John 4:24).  In every session children are given the opportunity to pray for the needs of their fellow classmates, have a review time regarding the previous lesson, and then a focused time in a Bible study.

Kids Bible Club

This is our after school ministry to children (K-6th) in the community.  Held at the Armory in Copperopolis every Monday starting February 28th.

Children enjoy a time of singing, prayer for each other, a Bible study, sealed snacks, and a time of recreation.  At the end of every six weeks of lessons, the girls challenge the boys in a game of Bible Baseball to see who remembers the most and to gain the winning prize of root beer floats.

Program scheduled to begin in February 2022

Every Monday from 2:05 to 3:45 pm

Parents welcome to attend
