Paul Mack, Jr. was born in Los Angeles, CA., and at an early age, he and his mother moved to Berkeley, CA., where Paul graduated from Berkeley High School. Paul loved living in the Northern California area so much that he stayed and continues to reside there now with his lovely wife, Djenaba Awolana. Although, Paul grew up in the church but because his mother moved around a lot, he didn’t really have a church to call home. Baptized at the age of 6 years, Paul found himself leaving the church because there was no frequency or church foundation for him to hold onto.
Paul found solace in the music industry where he began working at an early age. He was in the right place at the right time. At this time he went back to school and earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
In 2003, Paul moved to Copperopolis, but his wife was still living and working in Oakland. They would only see each other on the weekends and holidays until 2008 when she retired and moved to Copperopolis permanently.
Early One Thursday morning, Paul walked into the Roasters, Town Square Coffee Shop and it was there he met Pastor Sean, who said to him, “Hey brother, Why don’t you join us for Men’s Bible Study?” It was the best thing that ever happened to Paul. And the rest is history. Under the tutelage and leadership of Pastor Sean, Paul has learned so much about our Lord and Savior, and he still continues to learn as he diligently seek God. At Copper Canyon Baptist Church, Paul has met some great people. He now has his church family and was recently named Vice President of the Deacon Board. So. if you get a chance, stop by and join in one Sunday Morning.
